The EV West Tesla Axle Clips were originally designed for use with our Tesla 930 Drive Flanges, providing proper axle flange retention inside Tesla Drive Units. Since then, we have expanded their application to work with Tesla Model S and Model X axles used with the Large Drive Unit (LDU), Small Drive Unit (SDU), and Front Small Drive Unit (front SDU).
When the original stub axles are removed from a Tesla Drive Unit, the factory retaining clips can become loose or lose some of their original tension. Replacing them with a brand-new EV West axle clip helps restore proper retention and provides a fresh, secure connection for your half shafts and stub axles.
