This GV200QA-1 contactor from Gigavac is an amazing replacement to the Tyco EV200 workhorse of the EV industry. Gigavac took the compact size of the EV200 form factor, but improved its quality by adding a ceramic enclosure for the contact points. This internal ceramic seal allowed Gigavac to include the economizer circuitry inside the contactor, being completely sealed from the elements, and can withstand pressure washing at over 2000 psi. This setup is rated at an astonishing 4000 peak amps, and can withstand 3000 amps for periods up to 60 seconds, and will handle a continuous 500 amps. These are incredible numbers for a very affordable contactor. This contactor is 48 Volt externally economized and is for use with the Curtis 1238 controller.
