This AEV250-GE contactor from ALTRAN is an amazing replacement to the Gigavac200QA workhorse of the EV industry. This internal ceramic seal allowed Gigavac to include the economizer circuitry inside the contactor, being completely sealed from the elements, and can withstand pressure washing at over 2000 psi. This setup is rated at an astonishing 4000 peak amps, and can withstand 3000 amps for periods up to 60 seconds, and will handle a continuous 500 amps. These are incredible numbers for a very affordable contactor. This contactor is 48 Volt externally economized and is for use with the Netgain SME AC-X1 Hyper 9 120v motor controller.
