Description:

The IVT-S intelligent current and voltage measurement module is a shunt-based plug-and-play measurement system, continuously measuring current from a selection of 5 current ranges (100A, 300A, 500A, 1000A and 2500A), converting the information into a digital signal and communicating the signal via the industry standard CANbus 2.0 interface. The data is processed utilising a 16-bit AD converter at the speed of 1kHz. The modules are offered as a modular design, with the optional extras including outputs for voltage monitoring (three voltage channels are supplied, ideal for battery or relay monitoring applications) and additional CAN port to enable daisy chaining, all in a compact package of only 84×83.2×16.2mm. The IVT-S modules offer guaranteed galvanic isolation up to 1000V making it suitable for high voltage applications. The temperature sensor within the module is utilised for temperature calibration, ensuring excellent precision of ±0.5% across the whole temperature range, for greater safety, and to provide temperature reading off the shunt as requried.

FEATURES

• Intelligent shunt-based current and voltage measurement sensor for high voltage applications
• Choice of 5 different nominal current ranges: 100A, 300A, 500A, 1000A and 2500A, with generous overcurrent allowance
