This ceramic PTC electric heater from an OEM prototype program has been used for less than 5000 miles. Very clean for a used product. No dust in fins.
Heater element is enclosed in an extruded plastic enclosure featuring a 3/8 inch mounting flange with a foam seal, and two 1 inch mounting brackets.
Heater comes with a built-in HVIL (high voltage interlock) with a Tyco power connector.
We recommended using a
TE EV100 Mini Contactor Relay to switch power to the heating element.
