This GV200PA-1 contactor from Gigavac is an amazing replacement to the Tyco EV200 workhorse of the EV industry. Gigavac took the compact size of the EV200 form factor, but improved its quality by adding a ceramic enclosure for the contact points. This contactor requires an external economizer, like an inverter. This setup is rated at an astonishing 4000 peak amps, and can withstand 3000 amps for periods up to 60 seconds, and will handle a continuous 500 amps. These are incredible numbers for a very affordable contactor. This is a 12 volt externally economized contactor, and can be used with the Curtis 1239 and 1239e controllers.
