1/4" HDPE Engine Bay Firewall Plate for VW Karmann Ghia EV Conversions

This 1/4" thick HDPE firewall plate is designed to close off the engine bay of a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia during an EV conversion. It provides a physical barrier between the motor compartment and the passenger compartment while providing a clean surface for routing and managing EV conversion components and wiring.

The plate is made from HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), also commonly referred to as marine board. HDPE is easy to drill, cut, machine, and modify, making it well suited for custom EV installations. Holes, mounting points, cable pass-throughs, wiring openings, and other modifications can be added as needed to accommodate your specific build.

The plate may require trimming or modification to accommodate your specific vehicle, motor installation, wiring, and other components.
