The EV West CAN Bus Tachometer adapter will allow you to use your original positive ignition triggered tachometer in your classic car with the CAN bus output on the Tesla Drive Unit. This features user-selectable termination, as well as compatibility with 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 cylinder tachometer, so to make use of the full 16,000 RPM that the Tesla motor is capable of, you can select half of your cylinders, for half indicated RPM, since vintage tachometers don't go much past 6-8k, which allows for 4, 6, and 8 cylinder operation (nearly all classic muscle cars). Keep the functionality of your factory tachometer, and maintain that classic look with this easy to install adapter.
