The AC51 is an AC motor that operates at a higher 144-170 volts. It can draw up to 500 amps producing up to 88 HP and 108 ft-lbs of torque. This kit works very well in a medium sized cars & lightweight vehicles and has a more horsepower heavy power curve than the AC50. Features regenerative braking and idle function as well. This is basically the high performance version of the well proven AC50.
